The batik is hand painted with pure beeswax and batiked in a traditional hand dye process.  The finished piece is churned through a cauldron of boiling water before several rounds of machine washing.  This intense cleaning process permanently sets the design and color.    

Size Medium fits between size 4 and 8, etc.  These do not have a tendency to run small, however they are designed to be fitted for activity.  The models are all wearing size medium for these photos.  The exact pair for this listing is shown in the last 4 photos.
